Mucha-mucha Vista!

It's officially been 2 full weeks at Rio Vida! Even though it's been stupendously busy and full it's been a blast :) Getting to know everyone on a deeper level and connecting more with life stories and testimonies. Unfortunately, this week has been pretty rough in terms of illness. The 24(ish) hour flu has been spreading through this house 'muy rapido'. Luckily I'm already done with the sickness but each day one more person drops with influenza :( So please pray for much sleep and health within our group!
Yesterday was our free day so we headed by tram into the city centre of Alicante. While wandering the streets (calles) we stumbled upon Marco Centro - which is basically a humongous meat and fish market :P Besides the smells and eyes peering at you it was really cool. It's so interesting to see the differences in our cultures. While people here will go and buy there meat and head home to cook it as North Americans we buy our packaged meat and freeze it for weeks before devoured. Funny.
After some lovely European shopping we headed home for dinner and a chill night. Sunday morning we headed to local church service. It was really amazing to all come together and celebrate together in different languages.
Another busy week to look forward to but it's sooo good :D

Till next time!
